Prevailing Wage Lawsuit Update

A final circuit court decision regarding Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) lawsuit against the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) was issued on May 20th.

Dane County Circuit Court Judge John Markson denied the request for an injunction by ABC and dismissed their complaint in its entirety.  The state's prevailing wage reporting requirements are back in effect.  Contractors will now have a 45 day grace period to comply with the reporting requirements (retroactive to January 1, 2010).
